Ocean Flower

Every now and then, we come across beads so beautiful that we hardly want to use them and just keep them in a box and look at them instead :) Of course, we wouldn't want to keep them to ourselves really, and use them to make beautiful jewellery like this set...

Guardian Angel

We love these little Guardian Angels...  all in silver-tone, or with clear wings - they look so pretty! We also made these as handbag/purse/phone charms - but as a pendant on a neck chain, they are just so lovely!

Our camera just doesn't want to take good photographs at the moment (not our fault at all - definitely the camera! *lol*), but we hope you can see how sweet these are.

Frosty Fun

This bracelet and necklace could be worn in any season... look at that pattern - it could be snowflakes, stars, starfish or flowers...
Whatever you want it to be, one thing is sure... It's so pretty!

Tuts Royal Blue

"S" made this simple lace necklace with crystal hilights... and the colours just reminded her of Tutankhamen's mask...

The pattern may have been inspired by a Sandra D.Halpenny design.

Autumn Gold

Loved this simple design of lacy necklace! "S" chose autumn colours and made the "Autumn Gold" necklace, and "L" chose pinks and created the "Fizzy Pink" lace necklace.

Another photo-heavy post... showing a few designs and creations using the RAW method of jewellery making.

Going Green!

I really don't know what to call this necklace... it's green, and it's... um... green. The clasp isn't quite right, so it may end up in the 'bargain bucket' at a jewellery party... still - I do love those green seed beads :)

Twisted Pearl

"S" made this necklace...
... and decided to use a side-clasp instead of a traditional back-centre one. When we made different colours - something with a more modern feel, we decided to stick with a back-clasp - and made bracelets too!

Check Out Those Flowers!

Another creation that "S" wants to keep for herself - and she's already been told "NO!"
Gorgeous monochromatic crystals, woven into flower patterns makes this whole set so pretty and wearable.

Off now to hide this from "S" before she tries to wear it and pretend it's hers!

And, here's some more we created:

Modern Millie

"S" seems to have lost her marbles... and found pearls instead! She's ordering in loads of pearls and seed beads in pink, black and white... so "L" has been slaving away trying to create some new collections with a fun, modern feel.
Welcome to the "Modern Millie" collection...

Duchess

"Ooh...  wearing this I'd feel as if I should go and have tea with the Duchess" said "S". Duchess? "What Duchess?" asked "L"... but  there was no reply as "S" had the idea that the pretty mauve-y/pink and gold bracelet needed extras - like earrings and a necklace - and off she went into her own little world of jewellery design! Well, at least her ramblings gave us a name for the set...

Kissed Cross

We love these pearl crosses, kissed with seed beads - they certainly make a statement when worn on a long chain. We're still waiting on delivery of the silver chains, so only the gold versions are all finished. Still... whilst we're waiting, it gives us a chance to do some jewellery making :)

Moroccan Twist

After making these separate pendant pieces, I decided that they'd best be used in a necklace. I thought they had a bit of a Moroccan feel to them... the twist is using black AB crystals  instead of  a usual Moroccan dark blue to match with the gold colour of the seed beads
Only one of the rectangular clasps can be undone, and having two clasps on the sides of the piece made a pretty and unusual feel to the necklace.

Coiled!

Never again! That's all I can say about this next project... it took me three days to make! The same two rows of stitches and beadwork, over and over and over again...

Now, I'm not saying that it's not a beautiful piece of jewellery, nor am I saying that all the work wasn't worth it... but it was so boring to make! I've bought enough beads to make two more of these in the same colour, and at three again in reversed colours. Will I do it? Not at the moment... I'm having too much fun with other designs and ideas :)
Anyway, I was totally inspired by a webpage I found online, and now I can't find the page again!
